La historia de La Mexicana Bakery Studio

Hello, I am Myrthala, the owner and head baker of La Mexicana Bakery Studio. I have loved cooking since I was little. I was surrounded by those little details that make you love being close to the warmth of a kitchen and I decided to turn my passion into a profession. I studied Tourism in high school, which helped me choose where I wanted to direct my career. I continued my studies focused on gastronomy at the Culinary Institute of Monterrey. But I didn't stop there; over time I have learned that you never stop studying and I continue taking courses, I continue reading many books, everything related to pastry and baking.

I opened La Mexicana Bakery Studio in July 2019 to share my delicious creations with you. It all started as a game when I was away from my hometown and missed eating sweet bread for breakfast and/or snacks, and before I knew it, I had a lot of customers, which gave me that last push to make the dream I longed for official. Our main goal has always been to have quality products, taking into account authentic Mexican flavors and techniques. However, we don't limit ourselves to the traditional; we have also put some interesting twists on some of our breads to make them even more appealing and reach many more palates.

At La Mexicana you can find a variety of authentic Mexican products such as sweet bread, pastries, puff pastries, chocolate cookies and more. We also make custom cakes for any occasion. All of my products are made with fresh ingredients and baked with love. Whether you need a dessert for a snack, a gift for someone special or a cake for your event, I have something for everyone. Come and taste the difference.
